I begged for more, and my photographer ghosted me.
That heartbreak changed my entire life. Now I'm the photographer who makes sure no couple ever experiences what I did, because I know exactly how it feels to look back and wish you had more.
Find out what happpened.
let me tell you what happened.
There were red flags I didn't see at the time. She couldn't show me full wedding galleries because she'd "deleted them." But I brushed it off — we'd already worked together, I liked her, we vibed.
Then the week of my wedding, a hurricane hit Charleston. Our ceremony venue permit got pulled. I was scrambling to find a new location while dealing with a photographer who kept making excuses:
"There's a tree down on my street."
"I don't have childcare."
"I'm not sure I can make it."
I told her: if you can't come, find someone who can. She said she didn't feel comfortable sending an associate. So I told her she needed to show up.
She did. For 5 hours.
Then I got my photos. Three sneak peeks initially. That's it.
Weeks turned into months. Excuses piled up — health problems, Lightroom issues, delays. When she finally delivered the rest: 60 total images.
No photos of my brother (who was there).
No first dance.
No dance with my dad or his mom.
One single ring photo for detail shots.
No private vows (even though I watched her photograph them).
She even took a photo of my best friend throwing my veil — I know because she texted me a screenshot of her editing it. But she never delivered it.
When I asked where the rest were, she said: "I never guaranteed a certain number of images. You got the best ones."
I begged her. I asked if we could look at the RAWs together. "Maybe we can slap a black and white on the blurry ones," I said. She stopped responding.
I cried every day for a month and a half.
That moment lit a fire in me I genuinely cannot and don't want to put out.
I'm the loud, quirky, probably-too-enthusiastic photographer who became absolutely obsessed with making sure no couple ever feels overlooked, under-documented, or like their story didn't matter.
So, who am i now?
At least 50 images per hour. That's 400+ photos for an 8-hour wedding, not 60. (Last weekend I shot a 10-hour wedding and I'm culling through 10,000 photos right now.)
40 sneak peeks within 48 hours, not 3 weeks later.
A photographer who will never, ever make you beg for your own wedding photos. Because I have been there and I will never let it happen to you.
Someone who shows up fully prepared with backup equipment, your shot list, timeline, and genuine care for your story.

How we go from strangers to
(Yes, people have actually said this.)
I'll send you questions (the fun kind — tell me about the people you love, not boring vendor stuff). Then we'll have a planning call to build your timeline and make sure you feel confident about everything.
I show up ready (you relax)
Wedding day or session day, I arrive with your shot list, timeline, backup equipment, and probably too much caffeine. You get to enjoy yourself. I handle the rest — including making your camera-shy partner actually have fun.
After you reach out, we'll hop on a consultation call. or text (whatever is easier for you). For weddings, we'll do your engagement session — our practice run where I learn your dynamic and you get comfortable. By your wedding day, I'm not a stranger with a camera. I'm your friend who already knows you.
We plan together
We become friends first
